Hi Burt!
I hvae a few questions for you. I really like your Deverons material, especially an outtake of "Seven Long Years". Do you have rights to both of the REO singles as well as the outtakes (I heard there are at least 6 songs recorded), and are you planning on releasing any of this material sometime soon? What about live recordings. 2 early GW shows have come to light and I was wondering if there are any Deverons live shows on tape. What do you know about this?
Now, for my second set of q's. The hightly anticipated box set. Will RCA and the producers be going back to the original masters this time around? I found the CD's to be very shabby in thier presentation and sound.....looks like they spend the re-mastering money on Elvis, good ole boy he is! Will you or any of the GW be directly involved in the remastering process? I would really like to see the whole back catalogue given a nice clean up job to do the music and Jack's production justice and so we can play it LOUD!!

luxton has mentioned a couple of times that there will be a Deverons cd coming out at the end of this year I believe. He's planning on digging out a lot of stuff from his owncollection.

It's kinda' nice to hear that there is a bunch of stuff in the vaults....funny, the press always seemed to portray the band as very workmanlike when it came to recording...go in, do an album and get back on the road....it's a pretty pleasant surprise that there is this unreleased stuff.
Also, the album that came out in '75 or '76 with Silverbird on it...I thought that was the album that had been done and in the can after American Woman. Recently saw a description for the album that suggested it was unreleased cuts from various years...?

There's one Canadian website that is so full of errors on their Guess Who page it's unbelievable. Trioano on Road Food? Randy on Share The Land? These Eyes on American Woman lp- you get the idea. Eeeesh
