Burton,

I've been reading your postings with great interest. I have always believed you were an incredibly under-appreciated talent, and to this day I don't understand how you got off the US front page in music. Persistence in OFR should have proven how highly we esteem your talents down South by now. I am confident that the last chapter is far from being written as far as your music goes.

It struck me as I read your postings how terribly humble you really are. PLEASE know that your American fans appreciate you, and are eternally grateful for the prolific lifetime of music you have given us. Many of us have passed it to our kids.

My two young sons were in the front row in Nashville--thanks for being so kind backstage! You really made a wonderful impression on all of us, and gave one of the best family memories we'll ever have. I don't know if you knew this, but the majority of the audience in Nashville was from WAY out of town. It would have been worth it to walk the 650 miles we came to hear you! We would all like a chance to show you what kind of turnout you can still generate here in the States.

We know great things are ahead. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing you guys kick the door down at the Rock-and-Roll Hall of Fame, and assume your rightful places at the head of the class. You talked about how hard the Doors made you want to work...well it looks like you guys are going to have to do it by the sweat of your brows, again.

We're behind you 100 percent. God Bless!

Pain Train
