Hi Mark, nice to meet you neighbor! Yes, lets start lobbying for a Valley concert. That would be great. I stumbled on this site looking for concert dates since I'll be in Vancouver for a few days in July. Unfortunately, TGW will not be perfoming in Vancouver while I am there. *sniff* Actually, I would prefer attending strictly a BC concert, without TGW (will I be shot on site for saying that in here?). *LOL* I'm really enjoying the Up Close and Alone CD. Maybe it's old age setting in, but that was one concert I really wish that I could have attended.

We're up in Washington, and I would take a 4-day weekend to fly to Arizona for a Guess Who concert! Also, you know, we'd probably do MUCH better for seat placement in a venue like that. I wish I'd planned on going to Red Deer or Kitchener -- the good seats (in multiples of greater than 1, anyway) were ALL SOLD OUT when the tickets went on sale. Sniff, Sniff.

Heidi, nice to meet you. Okay, that's 3 for an Arizona concert. *S* Unfortunately, our weather is starting to heat up and many of our good concert locations are outdoors. That doesn't stop groups from giving concerts in the summer, but fall or spring is much better. Have you been to Arizona before? In the summer, it's normally still above 100 degrees at 10 p.m. I don't know how we stand it. *S*

Oh yeah. We go there on vacation; we have friends in Yuma, and we love Organ Pipe National Monument (south of Ajo -- wait, is that New Mexico??) My husband even threatens finding a job there (I don't know how I feel about extreme heat!) One thing about Washington -- we have the cheapest water anywhere, (low watering chores!) and most houses don't even have central air...!

You get used to the heat. Kind of. *LOL* I moved from Chicago 15 years ago, where I used to ski when it was -2F. Now, when it drops below 70, I put on long underwear. *S* Phoenix has really grown too fast and the pollution is awful, as is the traffic. My favorite place to live is Tucson, but the work isn't there. I am driven by the sun. I need the sun. I used to get depressed in Chicago in the winter because you could go an entire month without seeing the sun. Now, I love a cloudy day because it's such a treat. We have benefits, too. When you go to the grocery store in the summer, the chicken you just bought is cooked in your trunk by the time you get home. *LOL* You'll have to call me the next time you are in town. I do a great $.50 tour of the Valley of the Sun.

That would be cool! My husband already shudders at the thought that we can never go anywhere again without looking up any local B.C. fans.....and I DO have a 4-day weekend 'pass' I have to use sometime before next February!
