Subject: Burton's excerpts

When I read awhile back that Burton was writing an autobiography,I really got excited. I love to read, and I just kept thinking about what a great book it would be. Then the extraordinary events of the last week. I just finished reading the postings of Burton's from CLCH. I was fascinated! Folks, I've read a lot of books, and BC can write! I recognized a way with words from his postings. I want more! Please finish the book, Burton. I always laugh when I see that picture of you as a baby from UP CLOSE AND ALONE. Looks like a kid to whom fascinating things are going to happen and it sounds like they did! You share so much of yourself with your music. The honesty in your writing is just as obvious. To your musical gifts we now have to add literary ones. I share a lot of your musings about the nature of existence. I never drove Morrison around L.A., but I'm sure glad you did! You make it come alive. At the risk of bringing iHawk down on my head for being too "sucky", I have to say you have an exceptional and creative mind and thanks for sharing it with us in any of the ways you choose.
