that I am sorry that some mindless idiot(s)
tried to kill the huge buzz going through this
room the past few days (and more importantly
sully you & your participation here).
The buzz is more universal, too. This morning,
the beast in the Mpls market (KQRS) played
"Share the Land" (garry's drumming is so beautiful here,
as it is on "Guns") and "No Time". The momentum
from "Austin" & " American Beauty" for the band is huge.
Keep the faith, Luxton. 99.9% of the room can't wait for the summer. God bless BC & all of you. Yours, GGG.

WOW! The exerpt about your night with JM was a good read. I was crazy about the Doors, too. But instead of traveling to concerts and snortin' blow, I was at home (which happened to be in the middle of nowhere-literally) smokin' BAW and listening to the Doors (but only after my homework was done-I was a good girl. And my parents were great; they never cared about the weed as long as I stayed on the honor roll, so I did both). His lyrics were truly brilliant--and they got even brighter with a good buzz. LOL My personal favorite has always been Crystal Ship. Still to this day, no matter where I'm at or what I'm doing if I hear a song by the Doors I smell Jasmine sented incense in my head. I was almost as big a fan of JM's then as I am of you now. The difference is that I don't listen much to the Doors anymore; just occasionally, where as I really think I will listen to your music the rest of my life.

When you are writing your book and calling up the past, does it ever take you into such a heady state of excitment that you tremble or have to back away from it awhile to calm down? It's obvious from what I've read, that you have loved what you have lived every much as I have loved my own life. I am very anxious to read the entire book; I will savor every morsel.
