Subject: Duh... Can't Think

I always imagined if I ever had the opportunity to meet Burton in person, I'd get absolutely tongue-tied. Now I feel keyboard-tied. I can't think straight, and I can't get this stupid grin off my face.

Anyway, Burton, I love your music. Whenever I can, I get my band to let me perform one. We performed "Timeless Love" for Valentine's Day. It's a wonderful song to sing, and though we're mainly a country/bluegrass style band, the song came off really well. I'd like to introduce one off your MOWTR special next -- "Love Dies Hard" and I'm still working on doing a B/G version of "Share The Land". Thank you for providing so much wonderful material and for your talent that led me to want to hear more.

First time I heard Love Dies Hard, I fell in love with it. It's one of those unreleased gems that only us obsessive collecters have. Unfortunatly, I found out that an old love of mine was dying around the same time I first heard it and it moves me to tears- Frank was the closest thing I've ever found to a "soulmate" and that fact never changed, evan though my feelings did.

I'm glad that Timeless Love went well for you...you make me proud just saying that you did it...everybody always liked that line "feels good even missin' ya"...there'll be a Volume 2 of For the Fans before long and perhaps you'll like some of the stuff I chose for it...be well and thanks for caring...
