Sam had mentioned this to me when we had wondered what to do with the leftover funds. A very nice destination for the funds...dogs are the greatest animals on the face of the earth. Our Bichon is a real clown, and the family loves him to pieces...a real suck. There will definitely be funds left over; Mike, why not hold off for a bit, and I can send you the funds to combine with yours, and you can make the arrangements to get it to the Society for us? I tried to cut costs as much as possible; that's why a lot of you received your CDs in mailers that said "Time-Life" on them. LOL.
Burton, I mentioned in my post below that the fans seem to be a truly nice group of people...there were a good number of people who, knowing that any extra funds would go to a charity of your choice, chose to include extra funds in their orders, both to ensure that I didn't run short for any reason, and to ensure that there would be funds to go to the charity. I'll post the final donation amount here and on ONELIST when it's made. Thanks to all. -- Fred

Good idea Fred. I have to wait for a while anyway. I'm still waiting for a few more letters to show up. I'll get the money to the Humane Society and get the receipt in the name of "The Burton Cummings Fan Club". Our dogs are pretty funny at times. Chloe will jump at the TV screen at the kangaroo on the Domo gas commercial and either change the channel or turn the TV off. Tara will get mad at her for doing that and start chasing her around.

Great choice of charity.
My family has always "adopted" dogs. The first one I remember was Cinnamon, we took her from a family that didn't want to keep her. Alberta (Canada/Albert Flasher) was a stray at a lake where I sailed as a kid. I got Trudy, who is now 12, at the Dallas SPCA as a puppy. And we adopted Maya, a retired Greyhound athlete, from the race track near Houston.
Greyhounds are great pets (very lazy). Anyone, if you get a dog or cat please adopt!

Volume 1 was awsome, you can't ever disappoint us Burton, not to worry there, believe us. . . "Everything Happens to me" was most enjoyable. . .
