Burton,

I recall listening to your mom talking with Larry Updike on the radio just before the Pan Am games. She was so full of pride and enthusiasm, rightly so. She stated that she was particularily proud of your songwriting talent. You are indeed fortunate to have such a supportive mother. She had a tough job doing it all on her own and we should be eternally greatful to her for making you take those piano lessons.
Thanks for sharing all of your god given talents with so many people and for being human. You are above all, just like the rest of mankind, you have a right to speak when you choose to, to whomever you choose to, keep the company of your choice and live the way you want to. At times it is no wonder that you appear to be a loner, aren't we all. You have a personal side to your life and people should respect that, isn't that what we all want?
