Great idea, jeannie. Getting Burton to play for us would be the easy part, compared to trying to get everybody to agree on one place. (Ha- that'll be the hard part- lol!)BTW I pick Rochester! here we go.......

ROCHESTER! C'Mon, Deb, go easy on us! I still think CALGARY would be a good half way point to just about everywhere! OR, 'we' could rent his favorite bar in Winnipeg and have a Burton-and-fans karaoke night....how come nobody ever talks about GW/BC karaoke??? And VFD could attempt to accompany us on gee-tar!

I'll tell you why we never do the Karoke -- there are no karoke GW/BC backgrounds. I searched Pocket Songs' website (the biggest provider I know of background music you can buy) and lo and behold, NADA, BUPKISS, well you get the idea. 'Course it does sound like we almost have a full band among the fans, maybe we could put something together.

Now back to the original subject -- I'd almost think you'd have to place this concert wherever Burton would want to go, but Rochester would be easier for me than points in Canada, still I understand the exchange rate thing, so I'll wait for the final vote.

CALGARY! Yeah! Sounds like a plan to me! Thanks, Heidi!

I'll do fine as long as I stay one beer behind you. You plan to have your Albert Flasher sheet music all practiced up to show (up?) Burton, naaaaaaavygirl ;-P

Not darn likely! (On the Albert Flasher piano music, OR you staying one beer behind me, Dan-O). BUT the Stand Tall music is INfinitely more playable (read: easier, and sounds more recognizable, too). BUT I can sing, "no time, no time, no time, no time, no time, no time, no time, NO time, nononononononononononononono time, ..".etc., forEVER.!
