Subject: Help me Canada

I will be traveling through Vancouver and Victoria this summer and would like to know the best possible places to pick up some BC goodies. I want to get any music that I can't get here in the states. The internet sites list the music stores, but I want some first hand info please. It's a long way from Pennsylvania, so I want to make it worthwhile. Any help would be appreciated.
Does Burton really have a home in Victoria? Think he'll be home? Ha ha!

Hi! As an Albertan, I know that there is a music store spanning British Columbia and Alberta called A&B Sound. It is probably my favourite place to go, simply because they have ALL the GW and BC cds, or can get them in, at really reasonable prices (i.e. 13-14 bucks Canadian).
Hope that gives you one option!
Mandrew

I'll second Mandrew's recommendation. A&B Sound has a great selection and most of their stuff is cheap like borscht. Other good Canadian franchises are "Sam the Record Man" and "HMV" (which is a Canadian arm of a British retailer). I'd make HMV my second choice for price, but any of the three can get anything you want. I got my 4 Cummings solo CDs from A&B on the day of release for $13.97 each, or something like that. (That would be about $9.50 US). I had enough left over for a pair of headphones!

You can get Burton's 4 solo cds right online at "www.hmv.com" " www.spindlerecords.com" Some Guess Who stuff too.

"Cheap Like Borscht" eh, Tales? That's hilarious my friend! I nearly peed myself when I read it!

According to local rumours, it's an old farmhouse on the Saanich Peninsula, just outside of Victoria, and he goes there to hug trees and garden. A & B Sound is the most reasonalby priced of the music stores, but you can also access them online. :-)

PS If you come up for the shows, I hope to be getting a few fans together like I did in WPG last summer.
