Subject: Membership count

A while back I mentioned setting up a mail list. This is not the type of mail list where people post, but one where only I can send an e-mail. My main objective is to be able to send one e-mail to notify everybody if this site is down (remember when this site was hijacked by porn spammers a couple weeks back) I think now too, that it's time to get some kind of *official* membership count, now that our guest of honor has joined us.Must admit that I'm curious (more than) Any special offers we get in the future like the For The Fans cd, at least we'll have an idea how many we'll need. Just go to the American Woman Page and sign up. I don't anticipate using it that much, but it's easier than answering 40 seperate e-mails. Don't confuse it with Fred's list, it's an entirely differant thing, for a differant reason, differant purpose. (PS- boy Burton, I'm glad you didn't pop in when we were hijacked by those porn spammers, you would have had quite a shock. lol!)

I signed up using my work e-mail today. We have e-mailed each other before on my home e-mail address (tsglover@primenet.com) but I have not signed up on your site with it before.

I know, you signed up with both addresses, it's ok as long as I know- I really want a good accurate membership count

Nope- it says join the Burton mail list for Fan Club board updates, you enter your e-mail addy in a little box. Thanks for signing my guest book though, Mari!

Guess you'll have to change that number at the top of the board from 291 to 291 + #1 or something, eh?
