I think this is an excellent suggestion. The one I like is one he's done before, on the '92 Variety Club Telethon, "On Every Street" by Dire Straits. But for one he hasn't done, I'd vote for "Without You" by Harry Nilsson.

"Without You" was originally done by one of my favorite alltime bands, Badfinger, so naturally, I like that choice VERY much.
