So maybe we fans need to do something about this - a write-in or e-mail in campaign. I mean this year they're inducting Earth, Wind, and Fire and The Lovin' Spoonful. Both good, but c'mon, better than The Guess Who? I think not!

Their selection system does seem a little out of whack, doesn't it? I think it was Bannatyne who mentioned awhile ago that the record label is the one who submits nominees, if so, just one more example of "record labels packing you back away on the shelf" RCA did seem to write the GW off in the later years, slapped the first cd releases off in a slip-shod manner. (not paying attention to sound quality.) Certainly Burton's solo label dissed him. I think the only reason we finally got the 1st solo lp's was because Sony took over. At least they seem to have a great deal regard for him.
