Subject: GW

We got into a discussion last night on chat about whether or not the GW were ever on Ed Sullivan. While we were debating it, we realized that none of us could remember when the show went off the air. Any answers?

Can't say for sure, but did'nt Ed Sullivan die and the show was cancelled for that reason? I don't remember the exact date/year of his death either. Early 70's maybe?

The last Sullivan show was June 6,1971. I don't
think The Guess Who were ever on it, but I could be
wrong.

Im sure I read somewhere they were invited, went there to do the taping but other acts(dancing bears,or Popo Gigo)used up to much time,so they were not able to perform.I could be wrong though.
