Subject: Wanna try another list?

Anyone up for another? How about top 10-15 all-time favorite non-BC/GW albums. Original releases-no greatest hits compilations. Except for a college radio station that has a few good nights a week, radio around here really sucks! I'm always looking for some new (or old) listening alternatives. Here's my favorites, at least tonight (no particular order):"The River" Bruce Springsteen, "Physical Graffiti" Led Zeppelin, "100% Fun" Matthew Sweet, "Aja" Steely Dan, "Walk On" John Hiatt, "Armed Forces" Elvis Costello, "Late For The Sky" Jackson Browne, "Laughter And Lust" Joe Jackson, "Let Your Dim Light Shine" Soul Asylum, "T.W.O." R.E.O. Speedwagon (sorry, it was pounded into me at an impressionable age by a school bus driver), "Slowhand" Eric Clapton, "Laid Back" Gregg Allman, "Nick Lowe and His Cowboy Outfit" Nick Lowe......guess that's enough! Should've been some Beatles and Stones and Neil Young and many others in there, but there's not one album by itself that jumps out at me. Let's hear yours........

Well, with no GW/BC allowed, there are a few holes in my "top 10 desert island picks". Here goes (and as always, subject to change at any time!). In no particular order:

Never Mind The Bollocks Here's The Sex Pistols - Sex Pistols
A Night At The Opera - Queen
Queen II - Queen
Cut - Golden Earring
Abbey Road - The Beatles
Lola Vs. Powerman & The Moneygoround - The Kinks
Physical Grafitti - Led Zeppelin
Caught In The Act - Grand Funk Railroad
Desolation Boulevard - Sweet
The Day The Earth Caught Fire - City Boy

And since Gary was kind enough to raise the limit to 15, here's 5 more:

Dreams, Dreams, Dreams - Chilliwack
Fresh Aire III - Mannheim Steamroller
Moving Pictures - Rush
Dark Side Of The Moon - Pink Floyd
Who's Next - The Who

This is a good cross section of what I'm into, but I could easily select 200 more!
