The message from we the fans should be clear: A Guess Who reunion should be about GUESS WHO MUSIC, not Burton's or Randy's outside successes. As much as I enjoy BTO and Burton's solo stuff. I want a Guess Who reunion to focus on The Guess Who repertoire. For goodness sakes, a 2 hour show in and of itself is not big enough to play all of the songs from the Guess Who that we would like to hear. If I want to hear Stand Tall, I will go to another Up Close And Alone show. If I want to hear Takin Care of Business, Randy has his own band. Lets not use up the valuable once in a lifetime concert time with pieces that were done outside of the confines of the band we all dearly love. I have to think that the best way to get this message across to the guys that matter is for all of us to demand it. Are you with me on this???

What about the unreleased Bachman-Cummings? Other than wanting to hear these, I agree with you entirely. There's more possibility of hearing a more obscure GW song (like "Flying On The Ground") if they don't fill in all the time with non-GW songs.

If I recall, the 1983 tour featured only 2 BTO songs and 1 BC song. The rest was pure GW.

While you have a valid point (and I'd enjoy all TGW only), there is a flip-side. I've never been fortunate enough to go to a Burton or BTO concert, but fortunately through this board, I've learned about (and acquired) a lot of their post-TGW music. Many fans have not been as fortunate. They may have loved BC in TGW and enjoyed his mega hit "Stand Tall", but never knew what he did after that. If this reunion comes off and goes to the states, Burton, Randy, and the collective TGW are going to reach people who haven't been following their progress as closely as all of us here on the board. Songs like Takin Care of Business are recognizable to many non-die hard TGW fans. So I say, bring it on. Whatever makes these guys a household name here in the U.S. as they are points north is what we're after, isn't it?
