Subject: Send 'em a couple requests from the Club

In regards to favorites we'd like to hear in concert, how's about AW or Fred figure a way to condense our lists into 2 or three tunes as special requests for the Clonardians to consider in the tour plans? Perhaps we could get it into the right person's hands?

That's a pretty good idea. We could talley up how many times each songs appears, and submit the top three, many to a Certain Onelist DuDe.

How's this for a plan: We start a new thread (after we agree on the plan under this one) under which everybody lists the top three songs in order of preference. We can add points based on the #1 being worth 3 pts, #2-2pts, #3-1pt. The top three totals get submitted to Sam (unless someone knows an even more "in" person) at Onelist. One question is, since we basically want songs that aren't automatic, how do we go about disqualifying those? We could perhaps disqualify anything that's included on the '83 record or video, or everything on RCA's Best Of Vol's I & II. When we've decided this we can list the inelgible tunes on the thread. We could give this thread a 2 week deadline (bring it to the top after 1 wk). After the thread is up, we can spread the word on the 2 iMusic Boards & ONELIST with links to this board (give Deb some "shameless" plugs in the process). Let's get this all hashed out.

I like the process including the disqualification of "The Classics". The only addition I would like to see (hope this is not opening the worm can) would be votes for two(2)different eras:
1."The Original Four"...Top 3 picks
2."Post-Bachman" (ShareLand to PowerMusic)...Top 5 picks
Part of the reasoning is number of recordings, Burton and Garry's continuity, overlap with Jim Kale and the addition of Don McDougall to the tour. Of course this may complicate the disqualification process

Yes, I think it would. Make it simple as possible

I hope that thelist will include BROKEN even though it appeared on vol.II, it really didn't appear on a (regular) album and is verry underrated.Runnin down the street would also be a good tune to hear, i've never hearrd it live. It is a toss-up for my last tune, Pain Train is my favorite live song, but will miss a little something without Kurt. I also love the song Samantha's living room, that would be awsome!
