Received my "For the Fans" CD yesterday (thanks Bannatyne). It's absolutely great - especially the first medley. How many songs are in that anyway? It's like the Energizer Bunny, it just keeps going, and going, and going...

What a special thing for Burton to do. Here is an artist who doesn't ignore his fans -- great to know when you're hooked on a celebrity that they care enough to recognize it. Thanks very much to all of you (AW, Fred, Bannatyne, Sam and any others I've missed) who helped with this project and getting it out to the rest of us.

What is this exactly? Is this literally something by Burton, literally for the fans? Or is this some rediculous Re-Mix that a Fan put together? C'mon, and Share the Wealth. How does this Fan Down South get a copy of this?

By the way. I ordered the four ReReleases from HMV.com of the Burtster's first four solo albums. The Xtra Track on Woman Love, "Vocals On The Boat" is my favorite. The Nasally Line about how he "Prays it's enough for a slick little Tart like you" I can't get out of my head. Great Song.

One more thing. I'm flying to Vancouver, BC in about a week. Are there any other Cummings Music surprises in store for me, when I check out the Canadian Music Stores?

No- it's something BC made available just for us.It's features a medley of about 17 songs, then it has songs from UCAA that weren't on the offical cd like Mac The Knife, Daydream Believer, Mac the Knife, Everything Happens To Me (which he did at the CNE in Aug and in Winnipeg NYE.) No material of his own. $10 US Canadian contact Fred H. American contact Bannatyne aka Joe Miller.

No news of a new release yet but if I have my way there may be a live recording with the Carpet Frogs in the future.

Just got my copy of "For the Fans" last night, thanks Bannatyne!!! I got the same impression about the medley, it just keeps going on - and how great it is too. So many memories tied up in those songs. I loved it, can't wait to get home and listen to it again while I'm making refreshments for Wednesday's choir practice!! What a CD to cook to!!! Burton is the best - he's a star that hasn't forgotten who put him there!!!
