Subject: 3000GT Aftermarket Parts Usable on D Engine

I read somewhere that the 3000GT engine is the same as the one in my 92 LS. if it is, i'm not completely sure, wouldnt that mean that I could use aftermarket parts designed for an early 3000GT for my LS? i really wanna get a crome intake and other improvements...
