Here you go, in unconventional format:

Mr. Oddfellow from New Zealand:
- Squaresoft said 'no plans for pc stuff other than FFXI (which will be online only)'.
- Sadly, most companies have taken a "We must have our RPGs massive multiplayer online." As such, I can't recall any decent PC RPGs shown at th show. I saw some clips from the upcoming Knights of the Old Republic game (Star Wars and Bioware), which looked pretty good.

Jay from Mexico:
- I tried to deliver you message, but got distracted by what I thought was a new Conker (of the N64 classic "Conker's Bad Fur Day) game. Unfortunately, the rep told me that it was just a graphically updated version of said N64 classic with more multiplayer aspects for M$ to milk their Xbox live service with. I told him to go to Hell and stormed off.
- Nintendo "has no plans to pull out of the hardware business".

Ark of the ocean:
- The Halo 2 showing had a line that put most amusement rides to shame. Only line longer was the one for Half-life 2 at the ATI booth. I didn't get in to either, unfortunately. My friends said something about not wanting to waste their time standing around at one booth. Shrug. Sorry.
- Star Fox 2 looked cool. They had a multiplayer brawl going on.
- F-zero was too crowded around for me to get close to.
- The new GameCube Mario Kart looks and plays awesome.
- Metal Gear Solid one (the first PlayStation one) was there and looked nice (though not really different from its original incarnation).
- Rogue Squadron 3 looked better graphically, but seemed to play pretty much the same as the previous one from what I could tell.
- 1080 Snowboarding sucked. Period.
- Couldn't find Agetec to ask about the RPG Maker 2 (since I believe that's the company that's releasing it).
- The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game kicks much arse (well, it does if you loved the original four-player arcade game).

Achilles of the North:
- They were showing Resident Evil: Dead or Alive somewhere in the Capcom booth. But see... there were these zombies. A lot of zombies... and they wouldn't let me near it. Resident Evil Outbreak (the multiplayer PS2 one) was also there, and looked pretty much like every other Res Evil game.
- Silent Hill 3... Okay, I admit I didn't get much time with this game. The controls are still robotic and clunky. The graphics look nice and bloody. Unfortunately, I can't speak on the game's number one trait (aka the sound) due to the booming speakers of all the booths around Capcom.
- Final Fantasy: Tactics Advance looked exactly like FF:T. Can't say how it played though, cause all the consoles were in use.
- Final Fantasy: VII-2 doesn't look like it'll happen.
- You want to buy and play "Rise of Nations". It screams your name.

Other notes and observations:
- "Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles": Interesting game. I played a multiplayer game with three friends on the GameCube. What was neat was that it made full use of the GameCube-to-Gameboy Advance link. Every player had their inventory, stats, and attacks/abilities on the GBA screen. It was a little clunky at first to try and use it, but I got used to it fast. I'm interested to see how this one will turn out.
- "City of Heroes": If you like massive multiplayer games, this might be one to check. I saw several people playing it and it looked like a lot of fun. You get to create a superhero and sent them out into Paragon City to fight crime and evil. Controls seemed easy to pick up. I'll keep an eye on it.
- "World of Warcraft": One word: Boring. Maybe it was because I didn't have one of the Blizzard guys telling me where to go to get quests or where some neat stuff was, but I just couldn't get into this game at all. It looks pretty and they have like a year to fill it with content (which my roommate says he overheard the developers talking about the three full-time employees they have just writing a continuing storyline). It might be good, but I'm worried that I'll just be doing FEDEX style quests (take package A to location B to get reward C).
- "Mythica": Another MMORPG that's being released by Microsoft, this game uses Norse mythology to tell it's stories and personally spawned areas for groups to journey into. Graphically, it's pretty. Content-wise (again, it's a year off) it seemed kind of lacking. Then again, most of the MMORPGs I saw at the show looked identical. :-(
- Lucasarts again hid themselves off the show floor behind a closed door with a bouncer. Whee. Least they were showing "Secret Weapons over Normandy" at the Sony booth. It looks good in that old school "Tie-fighter" way. :-)

More later. Sorry, but I only just got home and haven't had time to process everything. Plus, I'm off to see the Matrix: Reloaded in about four hours. Talk with you guys soonish.

- Aaron (feet hurt)
