I was lucky to score a ticket for the pre-premiere today here in Mexico (ha ha!), and came out reeling, to say the least. Damn! Definitely better than the first, although the main reason for this is because we have a bigger picture of what's hapenning.

I especially liked the whole...how do I say, "abstract" element. I thought that the philosophical part of the Matrix couldn't be expanded in the sequel, but boy was I wrong. As Tashi mentioned, the whole thing about the One deciding the fate of Zion caught me by surprise. I can only guess what Revolutions will bring in that sense, but I think it will be just as good.

As for fight scenes, the highway one was definitely the best. Besides being so nerve-grappling, in a way it contributed to the afore-mentioned philosophical element...I wondered just how they could film such a scene, but then forgot about it and enjoyed the fight (remember Hamann and Neo in the Engineering Level in Zion?) ...eep, now I'm scaring myself, moving on...

As for the infamous Neo-Trinity sex scene...I was in the bathroom when it happened, so I have no idea what happened...should I consider myself lucky, then? ;-D
