But my job requires a LOT of training before I even step foot on a ship, and I'm in the most difficult leg of it right now. As far as my workout is concerned, I use the machines mostly, except when it comes to curling. I try to do at least twenty minutes of cardio before I hit the weights, and I can't spend as much time in the gym as I'd like, but I try and make it count. There are actually a whole bunch of people on base here who are majorly into it, some real animals when it comes to lifting. And I know how you feel about friends slackin off, all of my buddies used to work out with me, but they got into other hobbies (girls, cars) that took up too much of their time. I guess looking and feeling good just isn't high priority enough.
