Yes, I do love a good ranting, whether it's writing one or reading and replying to one. :-)

1. I don't know much about cameras, but from what you say it wouldn't be a total suprise if your's is indeed demonically possessed. (chuckles) I kind of have trouble with mine too. For a while now, I haven't been able to get it to focuse clearly. My pictures are always a bit blurry at anything beyond standard 3 x 5 " size (or whatever the measurements are). I doesn't matter whether I use manual or autofocus, and I know the lense is clean. (shrugs) Ah, well.

2. I have to agree with you here, Odd. I think Tifa and Cloud were indeed involved in, shall we say.......intimate activities. Which leads me to think of post I will be making shortly.

3. I have no idea what Fresh Up is. I don't think we have that here in the states. We do have something called "7 Up", which is one of those lemon-lime sodas (it's an inferior version of Sprite, basically), but I doubt that they're related. However, my knowledge of sodas is admittedly rather limited, as carbonated drinks have never been my cup of tea, so to speak.

4. I have yet to see Lord of the Rings, but it's easy to see why those chose New Zealand to film it in. It possesses some of the greatest natural beauty in the world, and although I have never been there personally, from what I have seen of it, it is an idea place to recreate Tolkien's marvellous setting of Middle-Earth.

One thing about the LOTR movie though......I wonder how well it goes over with those who haven't read the books? My boss saw it, and she said that although it was good to some degree, it dragged on forever and she didn't like the ending at all. When I think about it though, to a non-Tolkien fan and someone who hasn't read the books, that might well be a common thing. Anyone have any feedback on the movie from people like that.
