Subject: State of the Z-files web site: September installment

Just as a general heads-up, I figued I'd let you know that I'm in the process of updating the Z-files web site again. Submissions and suggestions are welcome and encouraged during this time.

Notes and assorted stuff:

- I'm ditching the current design in favor of some spiffy flash navigation buttons down the left side of your browser window. (Note: This is primarily because I haven't used the Flash button feature on Dreamweaver yet and I want to try it out.)

- The Navigation words/icons will be changing again. Staying are "Agents", "Board", "Rants", "Tales", and "Links". I will also be adding in "Media" (which is where Achilles' Diablo II pics will finally be going).

- I have access to a news ticker add-on for the site. As such, I can apparentally (haven't tested it yet) import text from a specific file and have it scroll across the top of the site (or wherever I put the ticker on the page). Anyone have any ideas for using it on the site?

- It has come to my attention that a couple of you have URLs listed in the "Links" section which are now dead-linked or inaccessible. I need updates on their locations or requests to remove them. I'm also taking new link submissions, so feel free to send them along.

- Banner and splash page collage images are still being accepted. Please keep them relevant to the Z-files. ^_^

- If anyone knows how to make icons, please feel free to submit one to one for inclusion on the Z-files page bookmark. Requirements state that the image must be a size of 16 x 16 pixels and in the .ico format.
