Actually, it was a very good computer when I purchased it. I had a local technician who was a friend of the family custom-build it for me, and I've been quite happy with it, for the most part. But I'm aware that it is beginning to get fairly outdated, and I'm kind of on a speed kick lately, hence the desire for more RAM.

By the way, I saw a copy of Windows ME for a fairly reasonable price the other day. I've used Windows 95 since I got this computer and I've never seen any point in changing it, but I guess eventually it would probably be good idea. Do you think that the ME has enough improvements to be worth the money?
