Honestly, I don't really think I can see it happening. See my earlier post this morning. Unfortunately, the U.S. cannot afford not to retaliate, not only because the people will desire vengeance, but more importantly because it cannot afford to show any signs of weakness to the enemy. The enemy in this case are the sort of monsters that do not think like you and me, or any sane, decent human being. They are not like a normal world power that can be negotiated and reasoned with, and they will not be satistified with just what happened yesterday. Honestly, I do not believe they would ever be satisfied with anything short of a complete eradication of the America way of life, and perhaps that of the entire West.

These are indeed dark times, and I hope and pray the attacks yesterday were all of this terrorist operation, and that the events that will no doubt occur in the days ahead will pass with as little loss of innocent lives as possible.

God help us all.
