Subject: A philosophical debate...

Like Madcat and Ark said - this is very bad, and it could very well lead to WW3. But think about it for a while - in some ways, isn't it possible that WW3 has already begun?

President Bush has already declared war - on an invisible enemy (most likely Bin Laden) - but war has already been declared. So we already have the second part of the three words - World War Three - which is War.

Now, the first word - World - NATO has decided to fully support the United States. This brings almost every European country into this. Even Russia, China and many Middle-Eastern countries are backing the U.S. in the fight against terrorism. And there's Israel, a long-time U.S. ally. That's one side. Then there are the terrorists and nations who might be sympathetic to them. This could include Iraq, Afghanistan and maybe Pakistan (although the former two MAY be out of the picture, as they have expressed desire to co-operate) and of course, Osama Bin Laden and his terrorist cohorts. So we have the first word - World.

The third word - Three. World War 1 and World War 2 were also global conflicts - of the kind where guns are fired and cities are shelled. Thus, the third word, Three.

There have been attacks on Kabul - but not on the States' side. But remember - right after the conquest of Poland, World War 2 began as a "Phoney War" - one in which no guns were actually fired, but both sides geared up for when they would be. Then, came the lightning war - blitzkrieg, when all hell broke loose in Europe. So it's starting like WW2 - with a "Phoney War" when everyone is bracing themselves. The calm before the storm. So with this, we reinforce the three words - World War Three - and that's the philosophical argument I present you today.

Feel free to debate for or against this idea - it would make a very interesting discussion.
