And now an update of the campaign to gain land in the Northern Territories.

It's chilly up here and the soldiers aren't used to the snow - however, morale is still at an all-time high and the Rubacavan Army's 73rd-95th regiments are vigorously fighting off rival armies, including those by the great Roman-descendant Achilles (known to his adversaries as the Gray -{Fox}-) who carries on the Roman Empire's legacy, and by the strong Arawn, known around the world as the Saint Faucet, who brings a touch of the Chinese world to these harsh lands.

Rubacava's strong walls helped, as they fended off many an invading force. Last night, the Rubacavan Fort endured a long series of Roman raids. The 80th regiment bravely fought off the invading army, even when all seemed lost when they penetrated the fortifications and stormed into the city. Gray Fox retreated most of his troops, a favorite strategy of his, it seems.

When Rubacava was left with some breathing space, scouts detected an enemy structure not far from our borders - a bombard tower, placed there by none other than Saint Faucet himself. The scholars at the First University of Rubacava deduct that it is a scheme to blast away the fortifications. The seige team will have to fix that problem.

Our offensive measures have been minimal - the 91st Regiment has struck minor targets outside our borders. However, the lack of offensive measures has boosted our defense, and our fort stands defiant even amongst constant assaults by enemy soldiers and possible spies who get too close to our walls - both Roman and Chinese alike.

Reconaissance has sighted a rather unusual object in the middle of the frozen lake - it appears to be a relic. It is safely guarded in the Santo Monasterio de Rubacava and scholars and monks alike are trying to figure out what it is, how it works, and how it can work for Rubacava's benefit.

Say hello to everyone out there, Manny, Glottis, Velasco and the rest. I'm off to plan the next offensive...

This is a message I've got sent to the folks back home - what do you think? :-)
