On a related topic, I felt like such a geek this weekend. What did I do? I went into the Wizards of the Coast store and purchase: the PC Dungeons & Dragons game Icewind Dale, Heart of Winter (the Icewind Dale expansion pack), and a hardcover copy of the new Star Wars Roleplaying game Core Rules.
