Subject: Re: Congratulations, Cara! I know this is wishful thinking, but let's get behind our girl & support her. She has three months until Miss America arrives in our state. Let's help her make a splash!

Congrats to our Miss New Jersey Cara. Some of us New Jersians welcome you with open arms . It doesn't matter, it comes down to rules and paying for college in our state counts and really all in all when your Miss America does it matter which state you were born in, no it doesn't.
We wish you the best!

[> [> Subject: Well the girl that goes to school out of state and defers stays in her home state for a year. The girl that competes in her school's state pageant defers and lives away from home and where would that be? Giving up your school status means you have no dorm to live in so what happens?

I agree she meets eligibility rules, so it's totally fair. But what happens now?
