In reply to: Bryan 's message, "Shoe Parade" on 09:08:56 06/15/13 Sat

>Does anyone know how the shoe parade was judged?
In response to the comment about " Painting faces Green and adding FLOATS". The definition of the word Parade is.....celebrating a special day or event with marching bands and floats. Also......to march or walk in public in a formal procession or in an ostentatious or attention- seeking way. I love a parade.... So do kids and the elderly...... The more The merrier. Cut your crap...... And don't bother coming next year...party pooper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No need to get testy and call people party poopers because they choose to have fun while keeping it simple and affordable.

Nope, judges don't care about that nonsense.

[> [> [> [> Subject: You people are ridiculous. This thread started bc Bryan wanted to know how to improve his parade showing and now you're bashing him for "throwing money" at the parade with his amazing float. Also Christine didn't even compete this year so who cares if she raised $10,000 for CMN. That's just something else we should celebrate along with her family's continued support of the organization.

How about we celebrate people striving to improve themselves and the organization. Not nitpick them.

Well they're not trying to buy the crown because you can't. And so what if they spend a small fortune on the parade. If you have it then spend it !!!!!!!!!!! and just because your face is painted it doesn't mean you look ugly!!!! And this is a scholarship pageant not a beauty pageant so if they have fun with it and wear big costumes they're just trying to put on a good show.
