Isn't there a rule about not competing in the next season's locals until you pass on your title? Saw an email to the Shore contestants about helping at the princess pageant and there are some ladies on the list who won't have passed on their title by the Shore pageant. An I missing a rule somewhere that allows this?

Ah, thanks! I thought that rule existed because of the comments made here after Venessa won Stars and Stripes this year. I thought people were saying it was the only one she could do because she hasn't given up her title in time for others. This makes more sense! Thanks!

Thanks for clearing that up! I was confused because of comments made about Venessa's S&S win this year. I thought someone said it was the only one she could do because of when she was giving up her title.
[> Subject: That rule doesn't exist in NJ. However, some girls choose to complete their year & give up their title before moving onto the next crown. It's always nice being able to do a farewell & be involved as the outgoing local queen.

I don't think too many of them keep the title a full year, TEENS included!
