Subject: I no longer compete and agree with the original poster. It seems backwards that a girl who can't win would take this position. Here is my question? If you have difficulty winning wouldn't you want all the better competitors out of the way!!

Venessa aged out, so it doesn't pertain this year, but for example if the girl who wins the last pageant of the year (miss Stars and Stripes during the 2o13 season) were to have to finish her reign then she would not have the opportunity to compete again the following year. If that were the case no one, except for girls aging out, would want to win the last crown of the year. This isn't difficult to understand. Compete when is convenient for you! Again, only the girls that have trouble winning titles complain. If you want to get to Miss NJ put the work in and go get one of the crowns. Quit crying that someone is taking your opportunity. These girls hit the gym, put the hours into their platform and whatever else is necessary.
