I hope it passes and that people can get things cheaper and maybe give our pharm. companies some compition (I can't for the life of me remember how to spell that word:). I do know one thing, my sister brought some Soma across the boarder, hand carried, perfectly legit. As long as it is not more than a 3 months personal supply. I tried one, ick, nothing like what we make over here, and it was their top brand. What a waste. But I know she saves bucoo money on things like her ibuprophen and things like that. I think competion is always a good thing. These poor people who have to suffer without the meds they need from lack of finances just plain makes me MAD!! I'll be in the same boat in 6 years. The company that took over where my husband works no longer offers medical benefits for the retireing employees. He's 12 years older than me, so I will be without, plus medicare doesn't pay prescriptions. Our prescriptions run 1,700 a month. Been turned down for long term care already from our problems. I'm trying not to spend the next 6 years of my life worring about it, but I do get stressed at times, we are going to have to put our ranch into somekind of legal trust so the gov can't take it if we do run into medical problems. We would lose everything he has worked for for that last 36 years, it would be a shame and not fair. These things get me in an uproar, like someone said this is the richest country in the world and our people that are suffering from lack of adiquiet care, young, and old, shouldn't have too.
God bless,
Fran
