Songs can be cathartic!! There are many country songs that bring me to tears. I didn't realize the first one you mentiones wsa about 9/11. I love the aln Jackson song and the most recent being "Have you Forgotten". Being a New Yorker and having had the hijackers fly right over us and the ongoing financial problems 9/11 created for our state makes it real hard to forget. There arte too many people in this area who lost love dones as it is common for state workers from Albany to drive to the city one or two days a week for work. I lost a high school classmate and there may have been others.
I always get very teary eyed over the song:Tears from Heaven" about the rain being our loved ones looking down on us.
Painful memories are easily stirred by song. Does the martina McBride song "Concrete Angel" get to you since it is about abuse?
Take care of yourself. I have been meaning to email but I am having problems not stopping bleeding from sugery adn it has been18 days now. I have been in often enough but last Thursday I had the supposeded last bleeder spots cauterized but am stay bleeding. Will call again tomoorw. They are checking my platelets in case I'd need a transfusion. Not something I would relish!!
Be good to yourself.
Love ya, Marilyn
