~I hear ya. We're the first to go, so we need to set a decent example.~
'And we won't be the best ones. Afterall, Allirea and Raen have already done this.'

-The Queen moves forward slowly, then finding a spot away from the others, she moves her golden body into a squat. As Lilith leaned back slightly, Rinali grinned and brought the straps up to her chin, looking over at the other riders. Quickly she moves them away from her face, signaling to Lilith. The dragon grunted in response and pushed upwards. Rinali leaned into the jump, squeezing her eyes shut in hopes that nothing would go wrong. She felt Lilith reach the peak of her jump, opening her eyes to see the great golden wings pump in a somewhat-clumsy yet magestic down-wards stroke. Rinali felt herself pressed down into her seat as her and her dragon rose into the air. Finally, when they reached as far as Lilith would let herself go, she started to circle, getting the feel of the air.-

~Well?~
'It was fantasic!'
~Really? I guess it was okay for my first time. But flying is everything I'd thought it was!~
'And even more.'


-They stopped communicating and enjoyed the veiw, both making short comments on the people below, seeing who can spot who first. After what seemed hours, but in reality minutes, Lilith started to lower herself, gliding in shorter circles each time. As they neared the ledge, the Queen slowed and started the process of backwinging. Rinali sat back, making sure she was out of the way from the wings. All of a sudden she felt something wrong. Terribly wrong. Within a few rapid heartbeats, she peeks over the dragon's body, noting the position of her feet.-

'Put your feet in front of you, Lilith! Before we set down!'


-Lilith's eyes began to swirl a quick, but dim red as she moved her foreclaws into place, just as they hit the stone. Her backclaws latched onto the rock, but spred-eagle wasn't the correct way to land. The gold lurched forward, grappling with the stone. Rinali gripped the ridge in front of her, knuckles turning white, knowing everything had to be left to Lilith. She chocked back a short sob, hoping -praying- that they would live through this. The gold dragon, managed to come to a halt, feet finally in the correct position.-
-Lilith lifted her wedged head in triumph, the strain noticable from the sweat streaming down her neck. Not feeling any sort of crash, Rinali brought her head up, opening her eyes. She looked down in amazement, then scrubbed away a tear that had gotten out.-

'Dear?'
~Yes?~
'I don't think we set a very good example.'
~I think you're right. But could you get off me now?-


-Rinali laughed with relief, sliding off onto the offered claw and hopping to the ground, stumbling slightly. She turned and removed her helmet, facing R'kan and Sokorth. She saluted them with a nod.-
"We had some...difficulties, but we're alright, sir."
