Subject: Ranskin looked quite surprised and slightly alarmed when Q burst into tears. He tried not to shift uncomfortably, and glanced at the bird as if for help. The bird, however, had resumed poking through the remains of Q's supplies. Ranskin waited until Q regained her composure, then cleared his throat. "A dragon? So you are from the Colony." He paused for a moment, then went on. "You know, you can still go back if you want to. The Council understands that sometimes people aren't prepared. They'll call you again another time."
In reply to: Q'heightllynne Asplu 's message, "having been unprepared to fall so soon and so quickly, Q hadn't had time to be ready to roll. Not that she could have if she had wanted to, being that she was stiff from her position. Extending her hand "thanks. I'm a little stiff, so, sorry if I lean on you a bit as you help me up." She got up, with his help, and leaned on him while she let the blood get going in her system. "you're very deft (ooc what's that word???) with your sword. Only 2 have I seen with anything of the likeness. Brothers, and dear friends of mine." Q's eyes started to tear up as she thought about her 'family.' "I... I..." She leaned on Ranskin's shoulder and started to cry. "What is Qu going to do all by himself now?? I've left him alone so I could find a dragon. I reft from him the rest of his family. so selfish of me. i couldn't think beyond the moment.. I.." Q trailed off on her mutterings to herself." on 20:58:26 01/28/04 Wed
