All he could think about was his precious dagger. He dove underwater to see where the monster was, but he couldn't see it. He surfaced for air and when he was just about to go back under, he heard Celi calling him. He looked behind him and she was about to catch up with him. Suddenly, he saw the sea monster out of the corner of his eye and it was heading right for them. "Shoot!" he said to himself. "Why did she follow me? I told her to go to the rock." Reluctantly, he swam to Celi. "Celi, it's coming this way right now. You need to go to the rock. Don't worry about me, I have an extra dagger. I'd rather come out of this with both. I'm not going after it until I see you swim for that rock!"
