Ocean
The soft sound of the gentle breaking of the turf against the ragged cliffs dominates the sounds of the ocean. Several fishing boats are tethered to the rocks, brought down there by people on dragons years and years ago.

Here is where you fish. The Dragonless can fish here as long as they have someone on a dragon nearby and watching. If the boat starts to sink, you will want a dragon and rider to save you. If you wish, you can say if your boat is sinking or not, but "Fate" can also dictate that as well.

walking from the Residential area, she steps in to a cove. Sitting on a rock she begins to play her dubble flute. A sweet, sorrowfull sound fills the cove.

Sorry to post this everywhere but I want everyone to see this. For those of you who were members of The Dagger, I would like you to know that the moderator has come back and things should start moving again. It would be great if you could all post on the OOC board there and say that you're still interested in role playing there.

For those of you who have never visited The Dagger, it's a great pirate (not pirate of the carribean just pirates) themed site. It's really fun and it would be great if you would like to come and join!

Haaden finished wrapping Halden's hands and, taking a step back, looked around trying to get her bearings. "I have no idea where we are," she said finally "It would be much nicer if there was conveniently some nice landmark but nooo." she babbled on. Haaden laughed "I say we go this way." she pointed in a random direction and started walking down the beach. OOC: Sorry I'm in a random mood.

He had been standing there on the dock, not moving, for some time. When Rei had approached him, he thought it was time for him to take a beating. But Rei didn't touch him at all. "Maybe there are some big guys who are nice after all." Wes grabs his fishing rod and finally gets off the dock, still stunned that he could actually go home without a bruise anywhere. But he didn't feel like going home. So Wes decides to try to get his mind off of what just happened and on newer thoughts. He smirks slyly and starts his search across the beach. After all, the beach had to be the perfect place to find what he was looking for, or so he hoped.

Wes stood on the edge of a dock, looking down in the water. In his hand, a fishing rod. He could see a fish below eyeing the bait. "Come on you stupid fish, you know you want the bait, take it, just take it!" The fish takes one last circle around the baited hook, then calmly swims away towards the ocean's depths. "GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!! Some great use of my time this is!!!!!!! This is so Stupid!!!!!!! I don't even like fish anyways!!!" In a rage, Wes throws his rod on the dock, but doing so causes him to lose balance and he falls into the water below.

Mackai dipped her hand into their food bag and pulled out a pea pod. She held it to her doll's hand (like a sword) then said "Princess, get behind me! I'll defend you!"

Kaleb waited a moment longer until the fish tugged again. He was sure that the fish had the hook in its mouth now. He reeled the line a few sharp turns. The fish began pulling now, pulling the boat along with it. ;)

Kaleb jogged onto the beach with the heavy basket in his arms. He climbed up onto the ledge they had all been standing on before and waited for Bet to join him.

Perigrin saw that the kids had begun to gather at the rocks behind him. he gave one good last rock a skip, then turned to look up at them. he shook his head and smirked. bending down he picked something up of the shore then walked casually over to the group.

Kid-Age Characters -- Kaleb and Mackai, 17:05:50 05/11/04 Tue
Two young elf children wander down the beach, one male and one female. The two are searching for seashells that the tide has brought in. The young girl bends down to pick up a shell that she had spotted when her younger brother charged in and grabbed the seashell before she could pick it up. She frowned but ignored his antics. She knew that he would become bored with his game eventually.

Lily too came out of the water sputtering. She chuckled at Rustam's words. Sloshing back to shore she flopped down on the sand. "Wow, I haven't done anything like that in a long time." she said with a sigh.

The death of the Black Ghost -- Rocko Delamuerto, 17:42:31 01/19/04 Mon
The winds howled, and the waves lapped at the side of the Black Ghost, as if trying to devour the entire Pirate Brigantine. On the decks, Captain Rocko Delamuerto was shouting orders at his crew. They found themselves tossed between hard rocks, and the ship began to fill with sea water. Some tried to jump ship with the rats, but they were quickly drowned as the sea claimed their souls to it's everlasting blackness. Finally, the ship could take no more, and burst into thousands of pieces. Rocko and two mates, Smith and Patch were the only ones to make it to shore alive.
Rocko was in his early 30's, had several days growth on his face, long, black, tangled hair, that went down to his shoulders, and almost resembled dredlocks. He had a dirty trench coat, which could have been black when it was made, but had faded in patches, and was caked with mud and blood stains. He had many throwing knives hidden in his coat and in his clothes, and two large sabres hung on his belt. He drew them both, to protect himself against the dangers that this new world would bring.
Patch was a skinny boy, no older than 17, with a huge ear ring in his left ear, and tattoos covering his right arm. He drew his cutlass, and joined the captain.
Smith was a little less fortunate than his companions, his leg was cut open, and bleading badly. He was in his late 40's, his hair already greying, but still very thick. His right eye was light blue, and his left was dark brown, by some freak genetics. He was the shortest, and somewhat portly, but his arms were thick and muscular, and he wore an open vest, some torn pants, and black boots.
"Cap'n" Smith called, "I can't move me leg more'n a shake."

Lily thought for a moment then grinning she said "How about 'a monument for all to see' built 'in defiance of the waves'! There should be a few hours until the tide comes in we should be able to create quite a structure." Lily smiled and headed down to just above the shoreline where they could begin.

Lidia begins walking down the shore, looking for a spot where she could sit, relax and just listen to the waves. The beach was a perfect place to do this. Everywhere else seemed to be noisy and crowded. Finally she picked a grassy spot just above the shore line. She sat for a couple minutes and then realized that she didn't really want to just sit there. She wanted to go and do something...but what?

OOC: Okay, has it occured to anyone else that only 5 or so of about 10 people on that thread are even concious, and none of them are in any active conversation? The sleeping people are now either safe or dead (Farewell, Mai'tsa, I hardly knew ye.)Unless someone objects, I'd like to say that a bit of time has passed, or at least that this awesome antidote has the ability to wake people up quickly, 'cause I like posting, and I'd rather not post my psychadelic dreams. Does anyone object? Well, I'mdoing it anyway. I'll apologize later if necessary. BIC: Chaos shifts uneasily in his sleep. He keeps drifting in and out of conciousness, and the effect confuses him greatly. In his mind he runs over his drunken fight over and over, but instead of the monster dying it keeps shoving sand down the back of Chaos' shirt. The dream became very frustrating and quite useless, so Chaos forces himself to wake up and be done with it. Opening his eyes he finds himself still lying on the beach. Rolling over gently, he tries to get his bearings. People were little more than shadows, but he recognizes the body closest to his own. The blonde elf from his dream. Gave him something to drink...he thinks. Memory is a bit fuzzy now. All well. What matters is that he's awake.
