The cat struggled and yowled at the rock that held it fast until both Faye and Imaran lifted it up off it's foot. As Imaran looked closer, he noticed that the leg had been badly torn. He remembered that sometimes animals bite their own leg off to get free of a trap. It seemed that this animal had begun doing that. "Looks like this animal had been here for a while." He scooped up the cat in his arms, and held it's paws tight so that the cat wouldn't swipe at his face. The cat flattened it's ears back, and hissed at him. -- Ocean

Faye looked at the cat, "oh! the cat was trying to chew through it's leg! Maybe we should take it home and clean up the wound. Here let me hold it."
