Subject: As soon as she sees Oricon get dragged under, without wasting any words Adwen pulls out a long thin blade - too thin and light to be a short sword, too long to ba a dagger - and jumps into the water, swimming expertly over to where the monster is. Carefully she approaches, looking for the best plan of attack. Without warning, a tentacle reaches out and slaps her across the face. First fire, the ice spreads across her face as the poison spreads and makes her numb. She thrashes wildly at the tentacle with her dirk until the heaviness reaches her arms. Still struggling feebly, she starts going under.

  • Rustam rushes up, taking in the situation. He could see that Adwen and the other girl were no longer struggling, but floating limply in the water. The tentacles of the monster were pulling them under. Realizing that diving in the water would probably only get /him/ paralyzed too, he decides that the best plan of attack is to cut off the monster's tentacles and then rescue his sister and the other girl after the monster was helpless. Seeing that the white-haired girl who was already throwing knives would be a great help to him, he dashes over to her. "To rescue them, we've got to cut off the tentacles, so the monster can't get us, then swim in after them. Use whatever means you have to damage and/or cut off it's tentacles. After that, you go for the blonde girl, I'll get my sister," he says. Promptly he starts in on his own strategy, selecting a knife and with a precise throw, cuts off one of the tentacles.   • The monster does not like the pain it is feeling in its tentacles. As Rustam slices off one tentacle, the others seem to recoil slightly in pain and then several more sprout out of the water and they fly towards those standing on the shore. Mai'tsa, half sensing the creature's outrage before she even sees the tentacles come in to attack, dives at the newcomer who is apparently Adwen's brother. "Watch out!" she shrieks, shoving him to the ground as a tentacle lashes out at the air where Rustam had formerly been standing. "Terra, Lunae, Auguria, /get down/! It can see us if we stand up!"
