I think BCers should have some say in the name of their province. If you want to make it a policy to cahnge the name- that's fine- but I don't think you should go so far as to actually pick out the name yourself. Providing it as an example is fine, but I wouldn't go any further- there are a lot of rivers, mountain ranges, and geographical distinctions in BC, so it's not like the new name is obvious, and there's no alternative.
