Subject: How to restore Canadian pride.

Dear People,

I am so pleased that this forum has got so busy so quickly! This tells me that there is a sincere desire for meaningful change in Canada. This also tells me that I am not a lone voice in a sea of unreason and willful blindness, and that there are others out there who share the same views. I belive that we can be the movement in Canada who create, for the first time in Canadian history, a sense of a true unique pride in Canadians, of being our own people, not a puppet on the strings of the global power brokers.
For that basic reason, I feel that we must use as our basic selling point to the Canadian public, that one point, we stand for Canadian pride! Beyond simply creating a unique Canadian Imperial Throne and crowning an Emperor of the Canadian Empire, we seek to instill pride in Canada. That also means that this new Empire must seek to give Canadians some reasons to be proud. There are many things we can put in a national pride platform, such as rebuilding some of our national infrastructure that has been sadly neglected for generations. We also must look at ways that a new Canadian Empire would support other uniquely Canadian cultural istitutions to instill this pride. Further, what basic changes to the overall picture of Canada would such a new regime in Canada propose to the Canadian public, to make Canada a more competitive society in this increasingly competitive world? By that I mean initiatives designed to further populate our land, take back control of our economy and industries, create a better employment and business opportunity climate for our people. Hopefully these changes would attract back to Canada at least some of the people who have moved away, driven from Canada by the limited options they felt were holding them back from furthering their careers.
Having said all that, I ask all of you for your input here. Let's talk about it. We need to put together a comprehensive portfolio of exactly what Imperial Canada will offer to the Canadian public. This is a must in order to create the groundswell of popular support so that we are taken seriously. Without this, we will simply be viewed as a lunatic fringe. We have our work cut out for us, so lets get busy. I eagerly await your input.
