Subject: Re: Bluescreen control into LN7530?
In reply to: Joe 's message, "Bluescreen control into LN7530?" on 23:14:17 01/09/02 Wed

First get the datasheet of the LA7530 at
http://www.semic.sanyo.co.jp/index_e.htm.

The blue screen will not appear if the
video signal is descrambled, so put the
3chip board after the video out, coming
from the 7530 (pin 16 passing through a
ceramic filter). In my case, the signal
was too low, so I added a transistor
and a 470R resistor (see the datasheet)
and took the video from the emiter to
the 3chip board, using a 47uF capacitor.
If necessary, replace the 75R at the
3chip for 470R or higher.

The signal at the output of the 3chip
goes to the next IC in the VCR, but
you can also connect the 3chip output
directly to your TV monitor, to set
the board up. This way you don't have
the blue screen anymore.
