Hey Richard,
In addition to the comments of the other gentlemen, you may find it useful to have a waveform/vectorscope on hand as well as a black burst generator. Using the burst gen., sync the two cameras and use the settings on the D35 to match the color signals of the two cameras as close as possible. This will greatly reduce the amount of color correction you will have to do in post. This should go without saying but be sure to roll bars on each camera and use the input setup of the NLE your using to ensure proper coloring.
