Betacron stood up, with many data pads in hand. In a low voice he said "Yes, good evening to you too Eulogy." Then Betacron began to speak freely. But, before he spook, he walked up to every senator present and handed the ma data pad.

That data pad I just handed all of you here contains the same data I received. A Few weeks ago, I received this data from a science team I commissioned to help find a new colony for military of a science team. The team was over seeing what seemed like a regular system. A class 5 star, and four orbiting planets, a simple little star system. The next day they went to look over the star system again, but this time, there was nothing. No star, no planets, nothing, not even dust. The strange thing was, they did detect something in the system, but it was a man-made object, some kind of diamond shaped craft. The day I called the meeting, I received more data, this time, more of these strange objects seemed to be massing in a part of space. Someone plotted the trajectory of the crafts, four to be exact, and it seems, they are the same things that were detected in the destroyed system, and they are on an intercept course for cybertron.

The senators looked puzzled, and Betacron allowed them to review his findings before he went on.

It seems we have a universal crisis on our hands ladies and gentlemen. These things crunched an entire star system, Cybertron won't even stand a chance. But there's one thing for sure, I'll be damned before I see this planet destroyed. So, here is what I propose. We already have a fleet of ships up in orbit around cybertron as we speak, it may be a good defense. But if we even want a 1% chance of surviving this, we need to do something many of you may not like. We need to go into storage and re-commission every single one of our defense satellites and gun ships. Of course, if this doesn't work, we need to consider the possibility of mass evacuation.

Senator Denarius stood up Do you think a mass evacuation of Cybertron is possible?

It may be our only choice. But this old general ain't going down without a fight.

Betacron sat down, and pulled out his Vid-Com. He pressed a few buttons and soon, Quickstream came on.

Yes Lord Betacron?

Listen up Major, and listen good. Go into your office, and get all your documents, then, go to my office, or what's left of it, and get all my documents, then, take them to the nova port and put them in my shuttle. Then, tell the shuttle that we are going to be late departing, this meeting may take longer than I thought. Now, do it as fast as you can. Oh, and one more thing, Call and get Lady Embry a new chair, and have it delivered to her office.

Yes, right away General.

Betacron turned off the vid-com, and sat back in his chair. This was going to be a long day, and he didn't know how long his sanity would hold up...
