Personality: She is nice and kind, yet tough and somewhat strict. She is extremely loyal, and once you are a friend of hers, you will always be.

Background/History:

. . . Once 17 years ago, her father was an emperor of Germany, and great mighty empire, part of the vast Holy Roman Empire. Her father had the influence not only on Germany, but on the entire Holy Roman Empire as well. He had been married to a woman, now the empress by marriage, for five years and she had produced for him six children, all girls. This enraged the emperor. She was pregnant once more, but the emperor doubted her ability to produce him a son. One year later, her maid in waiting gave him another daughter, right after his wife gave him a healthy son. He loved this girl child, he didn't know why. She was sweet natured and hardly fussy, while his son and other daughters had been very noisy and fussy. He loved his son as well, but his wife was enraged at him. The emperor finally settled and agreement with his wife, the empress, that the child would leave Germany, to be adopted until the age of 15 before sent off to live in the kingdom of Chaos. The girl child was declared illegitimate, and banned from the court. . .

….Now 16 years later, after having lived with a wicked woman for 14 years of her life, she had arrived to live in Chaos, just as planned….

A young lad of sixteen steps on to the sandy shores of the island. A finger rests on his left hip, where a dagger hid along the wide black belt of his outfit. His other course hand brushed through the front of his dark shoulder length hair, which was matted and dirtied by lack of a bath within the week-long voyage on ship. Soon he would search for a spring to freshen himself up in, but not yet.

A cool silver wind passes through the erea for a brief period of time, then when the silver is just a cloud of brilliant white, a women of astounding fareness and of lips the color of a red rose with mist sorrouding it, her eyes were a soft silver violet, breathtaking, and her hair was a wheat color gold with tiny pieces of what seemed to be silver.

She then decided to travel and met a blacksmith who taught her the trade until she was of marrying age (18) and decided to go look for a husband. She is now still looking for a husband but travels the country doing blacksmith work.

Appearance: She's of average height for her age, nothing unusual. Her skin is of copper, her black hair cut short. Tiger is of boyish appearance, just the way she wants to be, not slender nor pretty, just average.
She wears rolled up pants and a tattered shirt, and a sharp obsidian rock hangs from a piece of string around her neck.

Personality: She's average. That's all that can really be said about her. Tiger doesn't speak that well, doesn't do much at all well, actually. She copies people and animals(sometimes), for the fun of it, and the habits she copies occasionally get permanently stuck.

Background/History: She wasn't abandoned or anything... she just 'ran away'. Tiger's parents were seadwellers, and never truely named her. But they would tell her fantastic stories of the creatures on the land, her favorite was the tiger. And so, she named herself. It wasn't proper for a woman, and her mother said so, but her father encouraged Tiger's rough habits, wants, and needs.
Well one day she just jumped out. She can't be sure why she did so, it wasn't as if life on the sea at all times was that bad... Then, she felt as if she was lifted up, and carried until she could see shore. From there she swam, and that's how she came.

Appearance: Short and skinny. White hair and dark copper skin. Violet eyes with oval pupils. He is covered with half-healed wounds and dark bruises, like he has been beaten very badly.
Personality: He is withdrawn and anti-social. He seems to care only for the gryphlet he carries, but he will love anyone who gains his trust. He prefers animals to people.
Powers: He is psychic. He can read anyone's thoughts, or speak in their minds, but his abilities are especially strong with non-humans.
Background/History: His parents died when he was very young, and Streak's parents took him in and cared for him. One day the Mazives captured them. They planned to steal the gryphons' nine lives, but coiuldn't figure out how. When Tani refused to tell them, they tortured him. Furious at this treatment of their 'son', who was only trying to defend them, the adult gryphons attacked the Mazives. They were eventually killed, even their many lives overpowered my the sheer number o0f their opponents, but during the confusion Tani grabbed Streak and jumped overboard.

THE GRYPHLET
Name: Streak

Gender: Female
Species: Gryphon
Appearance: White, with silver streaks on her wings (hence the name). Blue eyes.
Personality: She is sweet and innocent. She trusts and loves Tani absolutely. She doesn't understand what happened to her parents, but Tani told her they 'went away' and that he'll take care of her now. Of course she believes him.

::Dismounting the palimino mare she reveals that no saddle was used...Going to the mare's head she whispers softly in a tongue only animals would comprehend. Walking forward, her black travelling cape swirling behind her in the island wind, the mare following obidiently. Talking quickly with the guard she mounts once more unaided and urges the mare to the front doors of the immense structure. Dismounting once more she pets the mare's soft coat with a gloved hand, sweet, soft words of priase and reassurance muttered in english. As a stable boy appears she continues to talk to the mare, in the similar foreign tongue she used earlier. Handing the stable boy the lead rope the mare follows as her mistress heads into the castle.::

Background/History: Her father was a very powerful man in a far away kingdom, unfortunately, Veronica was too bold of a lady to be allowed to follow her father's footsteps. After many fights in the manor and out in the public eye, she was banished from the kingdom by the ruling King and Queen at the time, it is in place for the remainder of her life. Three years of travel have lead her to the island, she too is different, her ability to understand animals is so great, it seems to amaze even the most spiritual of men and women.

Apperance: He's a dark boy, his skin crisped by life in the sun. His looks tell the tale of hard work, young muscles already ropey. Chicken legged, he prefers to scamper about in nothing but the hide of a large boar and a knife belt fashioned from sturdy leather.

Abilities: An exceptional swimmer, he likes to play with, and can fairly imitate orcas. His other favorite pasttime is pick pocketing anyone he sees.

Peronality: Smart and aware, he quickly adapts to most situations. Though his capability for seriousness is limited, he has no qualms about protecting himself at all. His behavior is rather animal like, having lived on an island for nine years and been raised by it's inhabitants, on sea and land.


Past: Left adrift on the ocean, he was salvaged by hunting killer whales and taken to shore on Graveyartd Island. Named Snatcher by their ranks, he became adapted to life as an orca. Finding primate friends on the island, he learned to climb and steal as well as dive and fish. His world was interrupted when whalers took him captive at price of his "family". They were Mazives, of course, and he soon became well liked among them. Jumping ship, he came to Chaos.


Crate: A spider monkey friend that followed him from Graveyard Island (where the whales go to die). Crate can dance to any drunken ditty, and he loves to wallow in attention.

Background/History: Two years ago bandits raided her home, killing her mother and grandmother, both midwives. She escaped with barely her life, and Sinti her dog. She has the ability to talk to animals, and may be able to transform to them someday. She lived int he forest for two long years, then found Chaos.

Dark ebony hair flows past her trim shoulders, though it is normally tied back in a leather strip. Grey eyes slant into an almond shape, metallic hue always glittering with newly formed schemes and ideas. The skin color of she is of dark olive hue; a permanent tan of sorts.

Personality:One of cynical viewpoints, the dark beauty seldom finds a companion to trust. Skittish, in a sense, the high strung ways of she are quite unpredictable. Mood swings often claim her happiness, sorrow, or anger. She is of extreme competition and astounding intelligence, relying mostly upon her keen mind a toned athleticism. Her manners are of rigid quality, yet manners they are. Mechanical is her etiquette for no sincere or suave quality rings true during formal gestures or engagements. A hot temper rages through her blood, and most likely all distant manners are dropped if felt insulted or threatened.

Background/History: Born of a distant, foreign land, the nomadic young woman was the spawn of innocence and malevolence. A young wizard of inexperience devoted all his time to finding a spell that would make his name well-known. The magick of which the greedy young man conjurred was rallying spirits and from the slip of his tongue an explosion occurred. The reactants were of complex magick and the product formed was Imari.
The aftermath of the experiment caused much discomfort within the land, for in this distant realm all spells have an counteraction (of some sort) with three times to power. From that time on, the youthful wizard was ostracized and quickly became an outcast. Within a few years, he died of shame and self-pity, yet his goal had been ironically achieved- many househeolds and villages spoke of his name (in anger and vengeance, of course).
After the "birth" of Imari, she was passed from town to town in search of willing parents, yet none would take her in. Just a sneeze from the girl at a young age would cause a catastrophe for "baby magick" plagued her until she was of maturing adolescence. Years drifted by, the travels of the developing female quite a routine by then, with no stable enviroment. Reaching the age of thirteen, the raven-haired female drifted off into the wilderness as an independent loner. Tough times arose and her self-training began, the young woman evolving into an adept huntress with sharp senses.
From this experience, a stand-offish beauty of self-reliance and mystery formed.

History~ After being created by Voyd, she was given to human parents, and raised with them. When she learned what she was, she nearly ripped Earth in half. Almost. A creature sent by Voyd, Blokk, stopped her, and took her to Voyd. She stayed with him, learning how to use her powers. Even though Voyd is tall and cannot talk, Kylie learnt well. BACKGROUND/HISTORY: When Serenity was very young, before her magical powers had fully developed, she was chased down and captured by human men. They locked her up and harvested her horn; every time it bagan to grow back, they cut it off again. Without her horn, she couldn’t use her magic to free herself. After a century and a half of imprisonment, a centuar rescued her, but she has hated men and feared all humans ever since.

Appearance: He's quite tall with a slightly lanky look to him, a decpetively puny air that is quickly dispelled. As he says it, he seems "at home in this skin". Get close, and the aura of predation is almost a physical odor. His hair is a sleek creation of blue-black that stays obediently in place on his pale forehead. Golden eyes glint hungrily as they unnerve those they center on. His teeth are a strange affair, when he grins, he still bears his big cat's fangs (explained in past and a tad in personality) which he will sometimes try to conceal.


Personality: Rathko is quite the charmer, believing firmly in a base of exceptional manners and practicing such beliefs unfailingly. Though this is true, he has a strong lust for hunting, which he does with his own self, dating back to his "origins" as a feline. He is possessed of a strange sense of humor, which can often disturb some viewers, though he shrouds his secrets well. His panther nature will shine through every once in awhile. When it begins to shine excessively, he's readying for a change. A spine chillingly intelligent and patient creature, he is often mistaken for something other than a human. Which would be a correct assumption.

Backround: A panther from the first, he was turned into a human by powerful sorceress Akire(hee hee!). He had been hunting in her woods and had killed her doe friend by mistake. Filled wih rage, she thought of the most helpless form he could assume, a human. Compassion, however, touched her heart at the sight of the beautiful animal reduced to a human. Though this was a new and frightening thing, he was allowed to bargain for his big cat hood. This means that he can become a panther whenever he wishes, but he cannot remain as one forever. To insure this, the sorceress placed upon his chest a mark in the shape of an hourglass. As his time in panther form runs low, the hourglass fades. Then he is human once more. Also, as a human, his senses were heightened (another gift of Akire's) and his teeth have remained feline. This gives him a somewhat vampirish look.

Appearance: A strapping young lad, he is thin and lanky, pale of skin and somewhat stronger than he looks. Brilliant green eyes gaze out of a warm freckled face, and his short, curly shock of hair would make a carrot envious. He tends to wear green and black, in large quantities.
Personality: Bright and friendly, he goes out of his way to be kind and is quite naive. A friend to all who wish him as a friend, he however has a deep hatred of the Mazives, who slew his father and took his mother captive. He was the only one of their children that survived that day.
A dreamer, his wild hair and messy clothes speak of his casual nature. Fun-loving, he speaks many languages and his main pet peeve is people who are close-minded.

Power: Fire can sprout from his fingertips. But it is not ordinary fire. It can be burning fire, growing fire, healing fire, etc. It is a strange power and not always controlled.
