I came across an excerpt from an article said to be from HSUS entitled "Blood Lovers" that's supposed to be the first negative article about Pit Bulls. It says something about a dog with a "tough hide covered with bristles and has curved fangs" - huh? What the heck kinda dog are they talking about? I've heard it's where all the misconceptions about pitbulls as a breed come from, but I'm trying to imagine anyone keeping a straight face while reading about a dog so vicious it developed curved fangs and a bristled hide, much less take it seriously. Sounds like a hellhound from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

I did a google search, and also searches the HSUS site, but came up with bupkis. Does anyone know where a complete copy of this article can be found?
