Maybe we need to get people from the Working Pit Bull Board to have a talk with these idiots!

I guess he's forgetting about the AWDF team that took 2nd place in the WORLD Championships in 2000, only seven TOTAL points behind the Dobe team. This is a team that was put together at the last minute- and in 18 weeks went in and KICKED BUTT - the first FAST SchH team ever.

Team members were:

*Craig Purdue and Dancing Dog's Sweet Pea SchH1, OFA

*Sandra Shaner & U-CDX R&D's Tetanus Lockjaw SchH3,CDX, TD

*Leri Hanson and 'PR' The Goose SchH3,NPL1,OFA

*Dan Guerra & Guerra's Sonny Boy SchH3, BST, OFA

A clip from the story in FAST magazine: "As it turned out, Sweet Pea and Craig won the day by doing a PERFECT score in tracking, high tracking dog in trial, SchH1 National Champion and High Scoring Female. All with motivational training."

Sweet Pea, (daughter of Guerra's Sonny Boy SchH3, BST, OFA x GrCh UCDX 'PR' Whole Lotta Rosie BH, WH SchH3, OFA) finished the trial with scores of 100-84-96.

"The Goose" (GrCh 'PR' Hanson's Jo-Mite x UAG11 U-UD'PR'Cheek's Red Baronness SchH3) scored 94-87-92.

Sonny Boy (UCD GrCh'PR' Guerra's Beringer x Wilrox Red Tazmania) had scores of 88-73-95

Tetanus (Essex R&L Lubbock Stubbs x R&D's Hard Candy Kisses) scored 90-91-92

about Tetanus: "Upon being given the Platz command, his chin went to the ground and did not move from the grass for 15 minutes. you would have thought it was tacked down. The final icing on the cake was the news in the stadium of the tracking. One dog had scored a perfect track: 100. It was Sweet Pea. Gary Hanrahan, five time National Schutzhund USA champ congratulated Craig with "Not only did you score 100 but you did it in record time!"

And not from this team, but another of the bull breeds was mentioned also:

"An American Bulldog, Moxie, who at 19 inches and 59 pounds, totally obliterated the trial helper in the courage test. "Little Moxie" repositioned the upright, six foot, 200 pound man off to his side, causing him to lose his grip on the attack baton and just about taking the sleeve off his arm, creating a five-second pause while the helper tried to gather himself together (unheard of!) then resume the attack."

So, I guess maybe since JD and his buddies can't seem to train these dogs to do anything, maybe they need to stick to breeds they understand. The dogs are fine, they just need trainers that know what they are doing.
