Dorothy, thank you for getting back to me---I will try to get a copy of the city codes for you and tell you more about this---I have had my dog since she was 14 days old--she is now 15 months--she is my house dog and is not a mean dog--I have had no trouble with neighbors or the city about her. She has Doberman in her--she is mixed--my daughter has her full blooded sister and she was issued tags for her dog on Tuesday March 5th but then on Friday March 8th they would not issue me one--they are now trying to revoke my daughters tags and make her get rid of her dog. her dog is an outside dog--let her in sometimes for the kids to play with-she is not mean either. In fact the two dogs look nothing a like at all. Butch Rulla told me if I can get a vet to sign a paper as to say what breed she is mixed he will give me a tag and I would have no problem with him. I talked to my vet here and he said he can't do that for how does he know what every dog is mixed with that comes through his office doors. I told Butch that he is telling me that I have to get rid of my dog or move out of town---his response to that was" you got to do what you got to do"--yes I know I should have had her tagged when she was 6 months old--I was just getting my life in order after an abusive situation with former boy friend--the cops where here serveral times over this--they all seen the dog--the never once asked me if I had her tagged or reminded me to get it done. Butch said that he can't go around to everyones house to see if they have their dogs tagged or not--true--but they were here and seen her--We have a city council meeting this Monday night at 6pm. I have to have her tagged by March 31st or I get a violation issued to me every day after that. I have cried my eyes out over this--she is my dog---you know no one can move in Villisca if they have a certian type of dog---I will get more info to you--thanks for reading this and all the help you can give me---I do own my own home in Villisca.
